Some rather more level-headed thoughts on the ‘contribution’ made by Vanity Fair’s “Green Issue” can be read in this article:

These include some unpleasant revelations about the ‘green’ credentials of Al Gore, revelations which have been public knowledge for some years.

Gaia, the earth goddess and planetary life force, has given the planet a gift. The gift is a form of earth, totally organic and natural, that becomes warm on its own, without the power of the sun. When collected, this self-heating element can provide power for our civilization to thrive, without burning coal, or scarring the earth seeking oil. It is obvious the gift has not been provided, so that it be wasted, out of fear, confusion, or laziness.

It is the duty of humankind to use what has been layed before it by nature, so that we may stop offending the planet. The element is uranium, and it is used in a very clean, respectful manner, by the dedicated people at Indian Point (which was once a Kitchawank sacred ground and burial site).

Indian Point’s current use, is in keeping with this history, and with the future Gaia intends for us all….

That’s awesome that you gotto hear RFK speak. Did you see the new cover of Rolling Stone. Its a cartoon of Bush and the caption reads something like the worst administration in history. I don’t know if it touches on Global Warming yet. I have to pick it up Plus I want to read the article about Nick crying over Jessica.

Hopefully soon the right messages and wake up calls reach mainstream.
