Daily Candy came through today with the highlight of Tomsshoes.com. Inspired by alpargatas (a traditional argentine utility shoes), Toms give a modern flair to the look. The best part about the company however? For each pair that you buy, Blake Mykoskie, the designer of Toms (and hey isn’t he the dude from The Amazing Race or something???), will donate a pair to a child in need from Los Piletones, a small village outside of Buenos Aires. It is the home to where the shoes are manufactured in anti-sweatshop conditions.
