I’m sure at this point, all of us have joined or know someone who’s joined Friendster, MySpace, Match.com, Tribe or any other online community designed to meet people through cyberspace. Although new communities like this seem to be popping up all over the place, a new site, Zaadz (Dutch for “seed”) seems to be different in a really refreshing way. On Zaadz, you can meet people that share your same values, whether that means environmentalism, veganism, vegetarianism, compassion, authenticity, or basically anything else you could think of. Although still in the Beta stage, Zaadz has great potential to organize and unite progressive, like-minded activists through its online space. Its nice to see the internet being used for things like this.
