We do a Swap Fest on campus at the end of every semester. It’s pretty funny to see the crazy things people bring out of their dorm rooms.

Really, it was the most fun I’ve had in weeks, and provided me with so many ideas! Just walking around, watching what other people did was an inspiration for reusing clothes, shoes, accessories, and making your own designs.

I have to say, its refreshing to see (and hear) that so many men show up to these events. I assumed it would be a big estrogen fest, but it goes to show you how hip, fashion-conscious and, increasingly, green, NYC really is! I’ve always thought screenprinting was really, really cool. It’s such an elegant art. Go screen-printing guys!
