Inspired by a lack of hip, organic baby products on the market, Diana Lussenden Stewart founded the BABYBEARSHOP line of organically derived oils and butters for mama and baby. In an effort to create a body line that is free of parabens, phthalates, and other known toxins, Diana has succeeded in developing a yummy line of natural treats for the body, whether pregnant or not. I highly recommend the “All The Better to Kiss You With” lip balm that comes in Lavender Vanilla, Chai Mandarin, and Pepperminty flavors. Being a lip balm junky, I can officially say this is one of the best. Some “organic” lip balms I have tried are too dry, or cakey, or just don’t work very well, but this one is awesome and they all smell delicious. The Mama Belly Oil uses essential oils of lavender, chamomile and red mandarin to protect against stretch marks and induce relaxation in mamas-to-be, but this oil could most definitely be used on baby’s dry skin or as a nice after-shower moisturizer for anyone. All of the ingredients in the BABYBEAR line are listed on the website, instilling confidence in the holistically minded, and the funky packaging makes these items great gifts.

Hi Kim — Though you might be interested in a new product from The Body Shop containing Community Trade marula oil…
Now you can look good AND feel good too! The Body Shop released today a new special edition pink Hi-Shine Lip Treatment ($11.50), proceeds of which will help women across the world. A translucent pale pink shade, this treatment delivers a high shine finish to the lips for maximum glossiness as well as intense moisturization with a delicate passion fruit fragrance.
The Body Shop’s Hi-Shine Lip Treatment contains Community Trade marula oil from Eudafano Women’s co-operative in Namibia. By using this oil, The Body Shop helps support women in marginalized rural communities by providing fair wage compensation for their labor.
And, as if you needed another reason to gloss, The Body Shop will donates at least 75% of the proceeds of this gloss to the FACE TO FACE program, a unique Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery (CRS) initiative that works in partnership with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
Every morning, millions of women gloss up their lips before they head out the door. Now this ritual can help make a difference in more than one way. Your readers can purchase The Special Edition Hi-Shine Lip Treatment from The Body Shop Online, any retail location of The Body Shop or by attending a party hosted by a Consultant for The Body Shop at Home.

For the past five years, The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence has partnered with The Body Shop’s Stop Violence in the Home campaign, which has raised more than $1 million for organizations tackling domestic violence. The NCADV helps women who have survived domestic violence regain their confidence by performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery needed to repair the injuries they have received from a spouse or intimate partner.
