Yeah, he's a royal, and uses up more than his share of resources, BUT this isn't the first time I've heard about his dedication to environmental stuff (doesn't he have a big organic farm or something?) And what other leader (even if titular) of a major country shows any environmental consciousness? Hopefully his very attractive sons will continue to be vigilant about this stuff and promote it...right now Britain is def. ahead of the curve in all things green.

Ok, it sounds nice, but the reality is far different. The Prince and the royal family have been under a lot of public pressure to curb their spending. In the past 6 months with elections looming and cabinet changes here in Great Britain, it was a public dirt flig.... and Charles has gotten caught in Public spending scrutiny. This is mostly spin, Charles has been close to the envirnonment all his life and is a great outdoorsman, as much as a hunter and officer in the miltary. Big deal...
As for the statements in regards to his cars, they are 2 of the most poluting cars in this country and by the way, you need to make no modification to your diesel vehicle to use bio diesel. Bio diesel means that it is made from organic materials, crops rather than oil. By the way, if you wanted to run a diesel car on the vegetable oil you use for your fries, it works, just filter and pour it down the tank...
You gotta take this Charles thing with a handful of salt...

Wow. Price Charles just moved up a notch in my book.

The current president wouldn't do such a thing, but we can hope the next will.

That's great! It's always good news to learn about anyone taking steps to save the environment, but it's especially good to hear about someone as public as Prince Charles doing it. Hopefully people will take notice and do something themselves.
