I don’t know if Mark Ryden’s painting collection, “The Tree Show” are really “eco”, but they sure have some, um, interesting themes. And for some weird reason, I can’t stop looking at them! You can see more of the strangeness at Mark’s site, and if you’re in the LA area, these paintings are being shown at the Michael Kohn Gallery.

Awesome. I have been a fan of Ryden’s for years. A friend of ours has one of his pieces tattooed on her calf! His aesthetic is so enticing - I love it. He did a series that included paintings of meat - also very striking anf thought-provoking. http://www.markryden.com/paintings/meat/index.html
