It looks like adding green features to your home, like low- and no-VOC paints, high-efficiency heating systems, water filtration, solar panels, and myriad other healthy options can be a boon if you’re looking to sell (good to keep in mind if you’re thinking of renovating!) Hey, even the celebs are doing it! (I know that’s what is going to change your mind, right? LOL)

But maybe your neighbors think McMansions are better than an eco-house due to Greenfear (that is the fear of alternative energy and Earth-friendly design). Check out this article about some folks who were blocked trying to build the modern green house above. Things that make you go hmmmm…..

    I think that house is pretty cool, why on earth would anyone want to block it biuing built? That just makes my head spin. If I were richer I’d love to build an EarthShip. That’s my dream home.
