I think EVO looks great!
In response to SV above – you can’t compare it to sites such as ethicalonestopshop.com as it is a different type of site. ethicalonestopshop.com and ethical superstore are department stores where you buy the products on the site and EVO is a shopping portal which directs you to other sites.

In the UK we have yet to have such a very comprehensive one-stop-shop as it were. We have, as yet, department stores like ethical superstore.com or ethicalonestopshop.com but nothing as wide-ranging as EVO.

The EVO folk are also very good about helping first timers who pitch up at the site figure out what in the heck the whole ‘am i green’ thing is all about. This is a key offering of EVO – educating people and helping them understand how much/how little they can do to get green.

I’ve done more or less the same thing on my own website, but it has taken me 6 years and to quote Elizabeth “Dan is right that “someone with less passion and interest” might give up. I have overcome the certification issue [I hope] by keeping to certificated organic products only! To monetize the website is the biggest issue.. now that does require patience and faith. http://www.organicassistant.com/

Dan is right that “someone with less passion and interest” might give up. I think that is definitely a big issue… I am curious to see if and how a marketplace like Evo will be able to impact the streamlining of labeling and certification. It’s hard to know anymore what “natural” even means.
