Katie, thank you for posting this information, especially the link to Cotton Ginny, which is a real find for women seeking plus-size organic and fair-trade clothing.Where to find plus-size eco-clothing is the single most-frequently-asked question I get on my organic cotton Squidoo lens.

Does anybody know about this site ( http://www.earthlab.com ) ? I have seen other environmental sites with carbon calculators like yahoo and tree huggers, but I am wondering what the deal with earthlab.com is? I saw they also published a list last month of the top ten greenest cities ( http://www.efficientenergy.org/Top-Ten-Green-Cities-in-the-United-States ). Does anyone know if this site is better than the others? Fill me in!

I took their carbon foot print test and it was pretty interesting, they said that I put out 4.5 tons of carbon, does anyone know about any other tests?

Hello Katie, I always look forward to your articles and will include this one in our News section. We have 171 Organic Clothes Products listed on our Consumer pages, but only 3 Organic Processor listed in our Processor search. I don't actually know how the market will cope with the demand? Maybe you could direct as many Organic Cotton Processors to us and we will enter them?

Katie I must express my pure pleasure from reading your entries. They always contain such a different tone than the others and it gives this site a great feel. It keeps the title "Eco-Chick" dynamic and reminds me that there are a plethora of eco-chicks out there.

The problem I find with organic clothing is that it seems to be almost double the price of regular clothing. I would suspect that in time the average cost would lower but I don't see it happening any time soon.
