They are also transported vast distances and since they have very low nutritional value, you&#039;re not getting much for all those food miles or kilowatts of electricity.  Then there&#039;s the packaging.  If you really want to preserve nature, take the cost of a year&#039;s supply of chips and donate it to your favorite environmental cause.
