It says it's a "retraction" and there's a bunch of stuff about the magazine using "green" as a means to increase consumerism. It didn't seem quite right, and the sticker wasn't full adhered to the page, so I tried googling it. I found these people's blog entry: http://www.crimethinc.com/blog/2008/04/22/elle-magazine-retraction-or-hoax/ I guess I kind of agree with their message, but it just seems over the line to deface the magazine.
