It seems to work out well. I have read hundreds of books with out spending more than the cost of the books I originally swapped with. It's pretty cool. If someone gives me a book as a gift and I am done with it, I drop it off at the swap. Most of my friends use these. they are all over in many bars and restaurants and marinas. Sharing though, is such a perfect solution - saves money ta' boot! It's all about shifting a certain state of mind & then organizing.
