Took off on Amtrak to Boston this weekend and had a blast visiting my old college friend and ex-roomie. I stayed at his place in Cambridge, home of MIT and a lot of large brains in general. I got to meet some of them during my visit (including an hilarious midwife and a climate change policy analyst from Oxfam) and it reaffirmed my belief that Boston one of the best cities in the US to live.

Day One we went to Brimfield, Massachusetts, home to the crazy huge antique and used goods market. Find vintage glassware, old furniture, books from the 50’s, ancient clothing, and the most random stuff you can imagine.

This is me with a GI JOE life-size doll that was for sale.

Hiking outside of Boston on a sunny afternoon.

Day 2: We biked from Cambridge to Newbury Street in Boston, headed to Envi, Boston’s only eco-boutique.
