Yeah, it’s true, I’ve actually done ALL these things recently! (Well, the painting of the floor instead of refinishing is a work-in-progress.) Sometimes I think I am such an eco- dork, so it makes me feel better when others say they do similar stuff!

3 out of 4 of those things are true for me, and i find myself doing much wierder things as well. One of the more hilarious ones: saving freshly made tortilla chips from Mexican restaurants by putting them directly into my bag. I never have spare containers on me, and i figure the waitstaff would not be too psyched if i ask for a to-go container for their FREE chips, it’d be one thing if it was my meal. only take this tip if you don’t mind grease stains!!

So true! I have 8 reusable bags and my husband keeps 2 in the car at all times. I still have my BPA-free Camelbak bottle though – haven’t gotten a Sigg yet!
