Another great way to ‘go green’ with your wardrobe, is to RECYCLE! This is not a new concept here at Eco Chick, but always good to be reiterated. There is the Goodwill, Salvation Army, church giveaways, clothing swaps, etc! It isn’t going to be organic, at least most likely it won’t be, but at least you are not buying stuff at places that use pesticide-laden cotton, sweat-shops, and general corporate greed.

It is great to support these sustainable industries, but if you don’t have the $$$, finding used goods is a great alternative. If you are handy with a sewing machine, there are great things you can do to revive clothing, too!

im 15 nad i love “going green”
and i really want a bunch of eco friendly clothing!
but sadly alot these places are to expensive for me except for arizona jean company.they offer recycled jeans and shirts and i was just wondering if any one on here might know where i can get more of the eco friendly and wallet friendly fashions for teens.?

We at 3 Clothing love the range of organic clothing that are becoming more and more available. We only use organic cotton at this time, but we love what other companies are doing with bamboo and even soy.

Don’t forget about Maggie’s Organics! They have been selling organic fibers for 16 years and use a fair labor model. Their socks, t-shirts, loungewear & other garments feel feel as good to buy as they do to wear!
