If you are allergic to poison ivy…do not rub the inside of the peel on your face..the inside of the peel has a chemical called urushiol(might have spelled it wrong) which causes rashes and blisters ONly for people who suffer allergic reactions from poison ivy, sumac..google for more on this subject. I applied it yesterday and did not really have any problems. Buy my mom for years have complained about getting blisters in her mouth after eating a mango. I love mango by the way:)

You can totally eat all the mango fruit- I just use the inside the skin to rub on my face, which usually gets tossed (I mean composted!) So it’s using something that might go to waste anyway…..:)
