I understand that, so I'm saving up for more "sensible" buys of staple pieces. However, it's discouraging to find THE perfect LBD only to find out it's $285.00. Not everyone can afford that, even with saving. I just wish there was a company out there that I knew had sustainable and ethical business practices with out charging $$$$$$ per item. Sales are what I love. On Under The Canopy the other day I got the long, kimono robe (normally $79) for only $9.99, making it $16.95 with shipping. STEAL! :-D Sale, Sale, Sale. haha

Samantha....shop the sales!! Check out the resources to the right- many of them are having sales on spring/summer items that are great for fall. Also: check Toggery for less expensive tops and also H&M, which is increasing it's organic cotton wares each season. Remember- the reason that other companies can make clothes so cheap is by underpaying workers in other countries (often children), not providing them with healthcare, and dumping toxic dyes into local river supplies- they are not responsible with the way they create their fabrics, which IS cheaper.

These are great! But, where can I find really affordable eco-chic clothes? My budget doesn't allow me to stock my closet with $80 tops and $120 jackets. Aren't there lines that are say $40 tops and so forth? Any suggestions?
