Why is soy considered “not necessarily doing better for the environment”? I thought that tofu was a good nonmeat protein alternative.

I have a family loom that is around or over 300 years but dont remember how to use it.

My friend in UK who breeds Akita´s offered to send me few garbage bags full of hair. lol

Very admirable plans.

For me I plan to use the plastic boxes i own more. like when going to butcher. to get my meat in my own reusable box rather then a throw-away one.

make better compost heap.

sort garbage better for recycling.

plant more potatoes and veggys.

Get some chickens and maybe ducks.

learn to spin the “wool” I collect from brushing my dog.

donate some of the many things we own and dont need. or sell them to save up for the chicken hutt.

these are just some of the things on the planning board here.
another is to buy a good bento box sinse they seem to fitt our lifestyle more then the old icecream containers we are using now. plush thouse are going to be used under frosen berrys come fall.
