That frickin' Obama betrayed all of us this weekend. He flew to Philadelphia and then jumped on a train only to head back to DC. Do you understand how big his carbon footprint was this weekend? Obama isn't green. He betrayed us. Now we have to live with the realities he is selfish and doesn't care about the planet. Damn him! And doubly so because he's one of the sharpest, most eloquent and inspiring politicians around today. It's just a terrible coincidence that his big chance to put his principles into practice occurs at a time of economic woe when the tightening of purse-strings is the order of the day. There's no denying his commitment and we're cheering him all the way - but where will he find the money? Or, more worryingly, *will* he find the money? Yes, it’s terrific that Obama is so clearly pro-eco. And doubly so because he’s one of the sharpest, most eloquent and inspiring politicians around today.
