Toxin Free and Delicious: Yes to Carrots Lip Gloss & Lip Tints

I’m really picky about lip gloss. (Oh, who am I kidding, I’m really picky about everything!) But, almost every lip gloss I’ve ever tried is just unbearably sticky to me – I find myself wanting to wipe it off after just a few minutes. So, when I got the opportunity to try the new C Me Shine lip glosses from Yes to Carrots, I figured it would be more of the same.

Surprisingly, not only does this lip gloss have a silky smooth texture that never feels sticky, it’s also super affordable. I found them at my local Target for just $6.50 a pop – less than many other chemical-filled drugstore brands.

C Me Shine lip glosses come in 6 candy-colored shades: Playful Nude, Rose Bliss, Carrot Kiss, Flirty Pink, Red Hot and Cocoa Loco. The latter 3 have a pretty, subtle shimmer to them. They’re all colored with mineral pigments, made with all natural 95% organic ingredients, free of harmful phthalates and parabens, and are not tested on animals.

Yes to Carrots Lip Butters, available in five fruity flavors (more like scents, thankfully they don’t taste like anything), are super moisturizing and petroleum-free. And, the brand’s Lip Tints are the best of both worlds – combining protection and moisture with sheer pigment.

Find them at your local drugstore, Target or at Drugstore.com.

Have you tried Crazy Rumors lip balm? I’m very picky about lip balm, too, and they have some great stuff!

I’m in Japan, so I order their products through the internet. They do have a minimum order price ($15 I think?), but their products are so good — and very affordable!

I’ll have to check out this brand, too :)
