What stands out about the brand to me is how light and carefree everything is. So often makeup is shown on stark, drastic palettes (like stick thin, ghostly white models). Everyday Minerals has normal looking women wearing their makeup, and the swirls and casual lines on the site make it seem really approachable as a brand.
There amazing brushes that ae cruelty free and there eyeshadows that are really pigmented and best of all there minerals
The artwork is lovely and appears to use the mineral colors, which is cool.
I love the whole Violet & Miss Plum’s Secret Orchard Collection
http://www.everydayminerals.com/store/makeup/spring-colors/violet-and-miss-plum-s-secret-orchard-collection.html
I love, love, LOVE the website design and the product branding, but I also love their Everyday Forward initiative, wherein customer’s purchases benefit various charities!!
What struck me immediately is how FUN the site seems! Very colorful and full of whimsy. Kind of makes me want to be all girly and wear a floral dress while wearing makeup that is good for my skin.
I also like that the company was founded on the principal of giving back.
I really love the trial-size & sample program. It’s so hard to buy makeup online when you want to try out new eco-friendly brands, and the trial sizes are helpful when you’re just not sure.
The beautiful graphics of the site and colours of the products!
I really love the creative illustrations on every page, the great web design that allows the products’ colours to pop, and especially the creative titles for their products, like “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (lip product), “Casual Friday” (eyeshadow), or “Parasail” (a peachy pale eyeshadow).
What strikes me about this product line is it’s versatility. Any woman can wear a lot of these yummy colors. I had stopped wearing makeup because I couldn’t find any that was environmentally responsible, and looked good. I’m thinking I have found my solution! Also, the “pay-it-forward” mentality of this company’s founder, Carina, is to be applauded.
I love the whimsy!! And those brushes– I’m totally lusting.
I love the packaging!! It’s so fun and exciting. It makes you want to put their makeup on (besides the fact that it’s such great stuff!).
I love how they combine raw, rustic looking materials for packaging (the twine for example) with such vibrant makeup.
It’s like little house on the prairie goes out on a Saturday night!!
I’m impressed by their “Everyday Forward” initiative that gives profits from particular products to charity. We could use a lot more corporate responsibility like this! (AHEM, BP. Cough, cough.)
What strikes me about the brand is how much fun everything is, from the design of the packaging to the names of their products. This company makes it easy to be playful, and the collections are awesome fun. I was surprised to see how affordable everything is, too, and I love it that you can try a bunch of different things in smaller sizes.
It’s clear that with this company, being boho and eco-friendly isn’t always about wearing patchouli!
i love the design of the website. very cool/retro/raw. and of course the products look and sound great! the company sounds overall… GREAT!
I love the fact that it’s all natural, vegan free. No harsh chemicals added at all & it’s on Peta’s list of approved companies.
I like that they have the trail-size program so you can try to find your right colors
New to the brand and the site. Fun to find a new playground. I love the vibrant image, the hip names, the collections ~ organic, all natural… I’m in heaven!
I love that they are cruelty-free and vegan and that the products are handmade! Also, the website is amazing. It looks so different compared to others.
Well the first thing that stands out before anything is the awesome illustrations for the brand. From looking around the site I saw a lot of promos, giveaways, and perks! I was intrigued by “Try Me” blush and bases. I like the color selection and I like that it comes with a purchase it you wanted to try it.
I absolutely love the graphics! The site is user friendly, I love the color choices for eye shadows and the wide variety of products. And the free samples with your orders is an extra bonus!
I just love this line of mineral make up!
My favorite part- it’s vegan!
I love all natural, cruelty free and value!
The website is visually compelling with the mix of illustrations and photographs inviting the viewer to delve in. The colors of the make-up are lovely, and the names add a bit of whimsy and playfulness. My favorite is that she has found a way to give back to women’s organizations…a cause that is close to my own heart and the heart of my business. When we help one another as women, we bloom. When we see each other as inspiration, we stop using one another as a basis for comparison, and inner beauty shines through. Thank you for your beautiful site! Glad I found this blog as well!
This is without a doubt the coolest website I have visited in a while, design-wise. The art is just fantastic and so fun, and makes you want to just browse through the whole thing!
I also love that the founder is dedicated to health in general and also donates some of the proceeds and so forth. It’s fantastic to see someone who isn’t in this just for the money!
An of course I love the makeup – some of the best colors I have seen so far as far as mineral makeup goes!
I love that a little goes along way with everyday minerals. i love their multi-tasking concealer it works with my tan and without it in the winter. They are just up the road in Austin, Tejas which is great to see a local company be so successful.
also the brushes are great looking as well.
Hello Stephanie, I love Everyday Minerals as well, I am starting with mineral makeup and EM is one of the companies I started sampling first. The website is very user-friendly, the selection is pretty big, and I love the artsy designs – so creative. I am already using their brushes, besides the top quality, they are vegan and made of sustainable bamboo. And the TRY IT samples have sifters in them! Amazing enough to shop there
I wish I could try this Smokey eye Set, I’m all for eye makeup anytime!
Love from Maggi
I am a huge fan of the Everyday Forward concept and the fact that a different charity is chosen every month. Also, the light and airy feel of the site is great! Love the artwork.
The fun art on the site stands out to me the most. It gives a great vibe of positive energy and love (:
The artwork and the whole look of the site is simple yet fun. I love the fact that you can see Carina front and center on the home page. It helps the customer put a face to the brand and feel as if through getting to know Everyday Minerals you’re getting to know her, the creator of it all.
The try me free products for the face are amazing. Usually on mineral cosmetics sites there are a ton of foundation colors to choose from and you need to know your exact undertone and be able to decipher their descriptions as well as your shade value (which I find difficult and really complicated). I ordered the Medium set because I knew that I fell in the medium range and I was able to find a color match on first try. I was simple and I didn’t have to waste a ton of money. I can keep the other colors if I get lighter or darker or I can pass them off to a friend to try out.
It’s an amazing brand and I’m glad that I discovered it. Oh, and the collections are amazing too!
I am just starting to use mineral makeup and I am now a convert. I think I’ll give everyday minerals a try and I like their packaging, looks very cute.
Colour Variety is good enigh in meneral makeup
If you look back to the Ceopatra Egipt, you see that make up was not hidden, it had strong colours to mahe clear that was a decorative practice and not a hidden defects technique
Combination of dark and bright colurs in the faces of pharaoh was a usual practice, both colours did not confused with the skin colours
Morever, brown colours was near forbidden because did not privede anything new
Make up of woman and men was very similar, because was centered in the meaning of the make up.Both men and women use the face make up as a way of expression
Make up was related with wigs and coul not been separated
White robes, black wigs and bright coulors make up was the three basic combination.Moreever sometimes the only coloured part of this three part combination was in the make up
Men however wear skirts and they used to wear necklace and check metal ornament, that gives another opportunity to combine with the make up
Usually make up has been a practice associated with urban culture. Egypt had both reallities urban and rural areas. We have documentaion on urban and religious practices. Priest ceremonies were indepoendent of both, because temples were ritered from cities and rural areas and they had their own infrastructure
In nodays if we recovere the millenial egyptian experiencee, bothe approaches are possible. To use make up to hide defects with brown colours and to use mak up as ornament with bright colours.Depending what you are looking for both things can beautify you
Clurs and substance materail are important both and not independent
Lasting of the make up has been always considered. This modern approach that try the make up last a day was unsual in older times. They make up for special ocassions and they used to clean the make up after.
