Havaianas Sandals: There's a Pair for Everyone

havaianas-sandals

Sandals by Havaianas are a Spring and Summertime staple in my closet — they’re comfortable, simple yet stylish, and last forever. I have several pairs that I’ve been wearing faithfully, season after season.

I dress my Havaianas up and down with flip- flop abandon. One single pair can take me from errands, to the beach, and then out to dinner in the evening. During weekdays, I’ll wear them around town on the subways and city streets, then change into my far less-comfortable heels right before I have to.

Havaianas, along with its parent company, Alpargatas, believe in social and environmental responsibility, which makes us love this company more. Its sustainable practices are complemented by the sustainability initiatives it is involved in, such as The Institute for Ecological Research and Conservation International.

Havaianas’ 2012 collection is filled with charming styles we can’t seem to get enough of. Here are a few of our flip-flop favorites.

One pair I’ll be wearing is the Slim Geometric. Sand Grey/Golden Sun Shown.

A new arrival: Slim Orient. Navy Blue shown.

  1. Great article. As you know Havainas is a very social minded company that has donated a ton of money to the IPE in Brazil. Keep wearing them and spread the good word.
