Give Back With Blissoma Holistic Skincare's Season of Personal Caring Drive

Season

Julie Longyear, the creative chemist and founder of Blissoma, is deeply grateful for her company’s success; it wasn’t too long ago that she relied on a pantry to help her survive during trying times. For an entire year after the economic collapse, donations from Julie’s neighborhood pantry bridged the gap in her monthly budget and helped her get back on her feet.  (You can read more about Julie’s touching story here.)

Food insecurity affects more people than you might think. Approximately 50.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households in 2011, according to Feeding America. And according to the United States Department of Agriculture, 16.7 million children under 18 in the United States live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life.

Now, four years later with a thriving holistic skincare business, Julie is paying it forward so others can have the same chances she did to get through their own difficult times.

Join Julie and Eco-Chick for Blissoma’s Season of Personal Caring Drive. We need YOUR help. All you have to do to give back is like Blissoma’s Facebook page and enter your email address! For every three entries, Blissoma will donate a natural deodorant, soap or moisturizer to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Pantry in St. Louis City, MO.

To relay their gratitude for your participation in the drive, you will automatically be entered for a chance to win a $200 gift certificate to Irie Star and a $20 gift certificate to Natural Joy Beauty.  You will also receive a 10 percent off coupon for all Blissoma products emailed to you. This coupon can be redeemed at Irie Star, Natural Joy Beauty, and O and N Collective through 1/15/13. Entries can be made up to 12/30/2012 at midnight CST.
