Fair Fashion Perfection for F/W 2013: Feral Childe’s Ghost Ship Gradient

02_Crow's Nest Vest with Harbor Coat

Feral Childe’s new collection, Ghost Ship Gradient, brings to mind just that (scroll through these images, and see more here). I imagine these clothes are what a heroine aboard a mid-1800s -era ship, populated by spirits and ghouls, might wear (and still be able to pop out and get a perfectly brewed Cortado without raising eyebrows).

Like all of what Moriah and Alice, the designing duo behind Feral Childe’s lines do, the details that make this collection a bit otherworldly are subtle; a high collar and unusual color on the otherwise workaday button-down below, or the graffiti-esque design on the Ghost Shell, below.

(And yes, all clothes are Made in NYC from sustainable materials in a responsible way, as always, with this intelligent, forward-thinking brand.)
