Meow Meow Tweet! All Natural Beauty Products Are Too Cute by Half—And We Love It!

Screen Shot 2013-11-14 at 5.28.35 PMThere’s such a thing as TOO cute—you know, babies riding Roombas, an seal that wants to snuggle — and Meow Meow Tweet, a company trafficking in vegan natural beauty products, including organic soaps, natural deodorants and healthy body oils, is embracing the concept whole-hog (or should that be whole snoozing piglet?).Screen Shot 2013-11-14 at 5.29.36 PM The adorable illustrations (the company is run by two artists) on all their products could be the dictionary definition of ‘whimsical,’ but they don’t cover up crummy products like some companies do—making it look all awesome on the outside and then it turns out the inside is cheap and smells funny—not here! I was lucky enough to try a selection of Meow Meow Tweet’s goodness and it’s as good inside as it is adorable on the outside.Screen Shot 2013-11-14 at 5.29.02 PMTheir organic soaps were lovely, smelling wonderfully clean, natural, and lightly of the essential oil ingredients like sage, grapefruit, fir, black walnut and lavender. All ingredients for all products are disclosed, which is a key sign that a beauty product maker is the real deal when it comes to nontoxics.

They even make a beer shampoo bar (which I didn’t get a chance to try, but sounds awesome, and how cool—no big plastic bottle to ship and recycle!). I especially loved their deodorant, which is supersmooth and creamy (if you have tried natural deodorants before, they are often quite stiff), and left me wafting lavender when I got warm, which was lovely!

Such ideal holiday gifts!
