Introducing: The Eco-Chick ZAZA Bioplastic Water Bottle!

The Eco-Chick ZAZA Bioplastic Water Bottle available here.

When the makers of the first biobased and customizable resuable drinking bottle in the world came to us and said they’d like to create an Eco-Chick collection to launch, we were, suffice it to say, thrilled! We’re proud to introduce The ZAZA Basic by Eco-Chick, not just because it’s pretty cool to have a water bottle inspired by your company, but because we’re so aligned with ZAZA’s mission.

ZAZA Bottles are making tap water sexy by encouraging water lovers like you and me to not only use a refillable bottle, and kick your plastic water bottle habit, but to use an ethical one. Each ZAZA bottle is created with respect to people and the planet.

ZAZA is the only refillable bottle on the market made from a plant-based material which is both FDA and EU approved. Each bottle is BPA-free and phthalate-free so it won’t leach any harmful chemicals. It’s also heat resistant and dishwasher-friendly, so you’ll get a pleasant and odorless experience with each and every swig.

These bottles will last you years because they’re both durable and customizable. Eventually your ZAZA can be recycled.

We’ve discussed how evil bottled water is time and time again, and according to a recently published article by The Guardian, there is no evidence it is better for you and, indeed, it may be less safe than tap water. CBS News reported that nearly half of all bottled water is reprocessed tap water, sold at prices up to 3,000 times higher than consumers pay for tap water. And even before the additional processing, the water had already met federal water-quality standards.

In case you needed a reason to invest in a great water bottle!

Thank you to the incredibly talented illustrator Hanka Bermannova for capturing the Eco-Chick ethos so well with these lovely, nature-inspired designs. Our tagline after all is: “Because Mother Earth is a Woman.”
