About Eco-Chick.com

The web’s first green living site for women, eco-chick.com began in October, 2005 with the simple mission of bringing green news and information to women in a comfortable and informative environment. Today it has grown to become one of the most well-known sites covering eco fashion, natural beauty, organic food, eco art, and low-impact entertaining.

Eco Chick.com has been featured in Glamour, Self, and Natural Solutions magazines, as well as online in and the site’s editor, Starre Vartan, is considered an expert in green living and eco fashion.

Eco Chick Readers + Demographics

Eco Chick readers are 85% female, and the majority (80%) are educated at a college level or higher. Considered to be influential in their communities, these women are first-adopters or close followers and tend to speak about what they buy and why. Concerned with both environmental impacts and style, readers of the site are ‘thoughtful trendsetters’ who tend to have disposable income that are carefully considered.

Readership is concentrated in the United States (70%), followed by Canada (8%), the United Kingdom (5%), Australia (2%), and Japan, Germany, France, Netherlands, India and Greece rounding out the top ten.
