Ren Skincare is Clean: Naturally Hot, Very Sexy, Very NSFW (Video)
I was recently introduced to REN Skincare at an event in NYC and I was really impressed – not only by the brand’s long-standing dedication to healthy skincare products (see details at the bottom of the post), but their overall messaging (as you will see in their vid below).
This video might be the very definition of sensuality, and yes, there’s some (tasteful) nudity. But I love it – instead of the porny-sexy pablum that we are often shown, this piece is a really lovely celebration of the human body and the natural world.
Says REN of their first-ever film: “The film embodies the brand; it is honest, bold and rejects traditional images of airbrushed beauty. It tells the story of two young lovers; they feel invigorated, alive and discover true beauty within themselves and each other.
The film was shot in a fjord in Sweden by Vince Squib, to the track ‘Down to the River to Pray’.”
I’ll be reviewing some of my favorite REN products in coming weeks, and this is why:
Synthetic fragrance, pore-blocking petrochemicals, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients * and parabens.
In addition, REN products do not contain potential irritants including:
glycols and diglycols (such as propylene glycol), PEG’s, PPGs, urea, D.E.A, T.E.A, PABA and other synthetic sunscreens, aliphatic alcohols/hydrocarbons, phthalates, fumarates, amines, alkanolamines, synthetic AHAs/BHAs, polyacrylamide, metacrylate, elastomer, poloxamer, styrene, vinyl, polyquaternium, synthetic chelating agents, nylon, nitriles, nitrates, nitrosamine releasers, bromates, fluor, aluminum and alumina etc.
