Best Fall Cocktail Ever: Apple Cider Ginger Snappy

I do realize that entitling this post “Best Fall Cocktail” is a bit bold. However, what I’m drinking right now is insanely delicious! So much so that I had to share with you, dear readers. So, without further ado, here is the recipe for the above delicious autumn cocktail from Mixologist Vartan:

1 cup local (if possible) apple cider
1 generous shot organic vodka (I like Square One)
1/2 cup alcoholic ginger beer (Crabbie’s is the best)
apple slice and lemon verbena leaves

-add vodka and ice to a glass, then apple cider.
-mix, then top with ginger beer
-garnish with apple slice (or chop apples up and let sink to the bottom) and lemon verbena leaves (I grow my own)

Tastes yummy with sweet potato and artichokes (what I happen to be eating right now).
