Eco Chick Giveaway: Fair Fashion from Treetie
This scarf from Treetie could be yours.
Treetie (pronounced like ‘treaty’) is a new online boutique offering eco friendly and fair trade women’s fashion apparel, accessories, and gifts. Its founder, Nichole Dunst, said the name of the company represents a treaty she’s forging between fashion and Mother Nature. Nichole and team carefully vet each item and brand to ensure that an ethical, and environmentally responsible approach to garment production is practiced.
“I hope to make it easier to make ethical choices when shopping for the latest trends,” said Nichole. “Treetie is not just an outlet for eco-conscious shopping, but also an ode to the Earth and a mission to help preserve all it has to offer.”
Eco Chick is giving away the fun and colorful infinity scarf by the Andean Collection in sunset orange pictured in both photos above. The scarf is made of acrylic and has been hand-woven on looms by artisans in Ecuador. The Andean Collection has helped change the lives of the artisans it partners with by creating jobs with fair wages, offering training and scholarship programs, and sourcing sustainable resources that minimally impact the South American ecosystem.
