DIY Casart Coverings Removable Wallpaper Project

I love color and loathe wearing black. So it’s no surprise that I was pretty unimpressed with the white walls of my apartment when I moved in.

The entryway to my Brooklyn apartment was yawn-inducing. It lacked life, color, and that charming feeling of first walking into a home that you’ve made yours. (Even if it’s not really, and you’re renting like I am.)

I turned to Casart Coverings to easily add color to my entryway. The company offers reusable wallcoverings in all patterns, colors and styles that are recyclable and easy-to-remove. They’re like slipcovers for your walls.

I went with Casart’s nature-inspired, Karen Robertson Collection. They’re big, dramatic vertical stripes in a bold, ‘oh, hey Lindsay, welcome home!’ color.

The installation process was a breeze and I had great fun with it. I simply prepped the wall by cleaning it with a damp sponge and drying it with a towel. I then measured to make sure my stripes were evenly spaced, took the stripes off of their adhesives, and placed them on the wall. When I didn’t like how I positioned a stripe, I was able to easily reposition them without damaging my walls.

I saved the backings so I’ll be able to take my stripes with me when I’m ready to leave.

You can get yours here and have a blast with your own DIY wallpaper project.
