Audubon New York Young Members' "Save the Sound" Benefit: Thursday, October 11th

We at Eco Chick are huge fans of the Audubon Society; in fact, I grew up attending her local Audubon Society meetings — and the Society’s education, publications (the excellent Audubon Magazine) and activism is one of the reasons I do the work I do with this site. You might say that if there were no Audubon Society, there would be no Eco Chick!

If you’re not already a member, we encourage you to sign up, and consider attending this event at the oh-so-fabulous Bowery Hotel.

The Young Members’ Facebook page is here.
Their website is here.

About Audubon New York Young Members:
This organization works to empower a new generation of conservationists, individuals ages 21 to 45, by raising awareness about current environmental issues, providing opportunities to experience and foster a love of nature, and building a community of like-minded and committed environmentalists. Our Young Members Initiative helps coordinate efforts of young environmentalists throughout New York State covering all aspects of conservation, including the protection of animals, ecosystems and the ongoing fight against climate change. Our efforts also involve on the ground education and advocacy for sustainable lifestyle choices. We offer access to an extensive professional network for young New Yorkers to connect and work together to create significant conservation impact.
