Fun Finds at Urban Air Market in SF
I checked out the Urban Air Market last weekend and found some finds! It was a beautiful day in San Francisco’s fabulous Hayes Valley neighborhood. What fun! (And reminder! There’s one final market this season on October 11th at the Lower Haight.)
Above was my first purchase; a beautiful geode-based ring (made from one piece of stone) from Unified People. It’s backgrounded here by one of my own Dogwood & Hastings tablecloths—(I’m wearing Mineral Fusion nailpolish in Sahara, FYI.)
Among the over 130 vendors (who made all-sustainable and/or local stuff), I stumbled across JEFF, a textiles-loving store in North Beach who had brought along a selection of floaty caftans, cool home decor and all sorts of fabulousness. I have been wearing the caftan I bought in Mexico to death, so I added this lighter version that has a drawstring waist so I can wear it out of the house too.
I also found my first set of Turkish bath towels (also called Pastementals) from Ella Lou—made from organic cotton of course. I chose black-and-white stripes to go with the vintage black tiles in my new bathroom.
There’s one final market this season on October 11th at the Lower Haight. You can follow the Urban Air Market on Facebook here.
