Fashion Revolution Day 2016: San Francisco’s “Fash Mob” Takes Over Union Square!

FashRevWC2016

We marched in the Fashion Revolution Day action in San Francisco and drew attention to Fast Fashion’s destructive ways: See the video of it all (and what we asked shoppers)!

Remake put together the awesome video above: They ask……

What does it mean to ask, who made my clothes? We asked real shoppers and ethical fashionistas on fashion’s most important day.

On April 24, 2016, the three-year anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster, San Francisco ethical brands and fashionistas put on a flash catwalk in the city’s shopping hub, Union Square. We asked the insiders and real shoppers alike what they thought about the movement. The added perk? We isolated 3 steps to increase your ethical, all coming from the question, #whomademyclothes?
