Diaphanous Dreams: Suzanne Rae S/S 2012 Collection (Video)

Suzanne Rae’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection was shown as part of New York’s Fashion Week.

I have quickly fallen in love with Suzanne Rae‘s romantic, quirky and sustainable styles since we first covered her F/W 2011 presentation on Eco Chick last February. Her recent show for Spring/Summer 2012 (see video above) was equally exciting, if a bit lighter and brighter, perfect for the season. See more images and coverage of the show at Ecosalon.

Her “mullet skirts” (short in the front to show off the leg, long in the back to sweep behind majestically) are practical – no tripping as your walk up or down stairs) as well as swoonworthy. Seriously, I’m obsessed! (And on Friday, check back, as we will be featuring images from an ecofashion shoot we put together that includes one of the skirts described above).

Haley Sherif, Eco Chick writer (and model-in-a-pinch!) shows off a Suzanne Rae jacket from her Spring/Summer 2012 collection. LOVE that print, which makes me want to romp off into the woods in search of mushrooms and wild onions to make a quiche brunch.
