Minan Wong’s Fall/Winter 2016 show reminds me of what we thought the future would look like before we arrived. Her recent presentation at New York Fashion Week was an ethical, sleek, modern, but totally feminine take on what to wear this coming winter. Wong designs in NYC and all her pieces are made in the USA.

“Items are made using eco-friendly elements like organic cotton, Tencel, recycled wool and recycled PET. All pieces are made in the US for fair wages and support the local economy,” according to the designer’s press materials.

I’m loving the texture on this skirt, paired with the neutral slouchy trench and bright pop of an unstructured blouse.

This 20s-inspired open-knit dress would look great over a pair of jeans and a tunic, or a dress. And those giant lapels on the big white coat just feel incredibly fresh.

The interesting sleeve detail on this blouse is fun and new—but still work-appropriate.
