Flower Beards for Men: We Just Can’t Get Enough

What can I say about beards that has not already been said? Probably nothing, but here goes. Beards are the best trend in men’s fashion right now, and I LOVE IT. Why? I’m not sure. Maybe it’s having  grown up with stories of legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyon, or the fact the fact that Santa is really nice, brings presents, and is jovially beard-y—weird, maybe—but I really admire them.

Beards make a man’s face seem snuggly, but wise.

There is definitely a lot of science behind why women many find men’s beards attractive, (cue in gender norms, pheromones, and genetics and you got a cocktail for perceived HOTNESS). Just when you think beards couldn’t get any better at being awesome, trends compounds to defy the odds and some genius decided to decorate them with flowers. Below are some images of gorgeous men with their radiant flower beards, coupled with some of my fave poetic quotes about flowers. Please ENJOY.

Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul. ~The Koran

Earth laughs in flowers. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

How can one help shivering with delight when one’s hot fingers close around the stem of a live flower, cool from the shade and stiff with newborn vigor! ~Colette

To be overcome by the fragrance of flowers is a delectable form of defeat. ~Beverly Nichols

Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair… ~Susan Polis Shutz

For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous. ~Edward Abbey

A profusion of pink roses bending ragged in the rain speaks to me of all gentleness and its enduring. ~William Carlos Williams

The flower that follows the sun does so even in cloudy days. ~Robert Leighton
