InStyle Goes Green(ish)
I don’t usually buy InStyle (but Kate Winslet was on the cover! I love her), but I’m quite pleased that I picked up the December issue at the grocery store last night.
What to my wondering eyes should appear, but in the midst of their gift-giving multi-page extravaganza, with such titles as ‘The Perfect Gift for….The Proud Homeowner, A Stylish Mom, and Your Trendy Friend’ was;
‘The Perfect Gift for….Your Eco-Stylish Friend!!!! While I think their choices were a little lame (I could have put together a list of 12 other much hipper, greener choices), I have to be excited that such a list was even included in SuperMainstream InStyle. This mag has a huge circulation.
Kudos to InStyle for encouraging spending some green on green this holiday season.
