The Only Raincoat You’ll Ever Need: Jungwon’s Ethical Chic
I met with Jungwon Outerwear founder and designer, June Sohn at her pop up shop on Warren Street in Tribeca on an (appropriately!) rainy April day.
I’ve always struggled with finding a jacket that’s not only tough enough to withstand gross NYC days commuting to work, but one that looks polished and chic too. It’s a tall order and the coat I was wearing to meet Sohn wasn’t cutting it.

Sohn took me through her outwear collections – made in the USA – which all aim to give secure protection and comfort. The fabric choice is waterproof, windproof, wrinkle free and completely breathable.

I tried several on, and each style felt strong, resilient and light weight. They’re pretty badass and unique-looking too. I feel like a power woman wearing my vibrant yellow Jungwon ready to take on the city and its crazy weather!
