A couple of months ago, I was sent a sampling of four of Good Medicine Beauty Lab‘s products. Let’s just say I get sent a lot of stuff to try—and this line absolutely blew me away. Each of the different products the company sent along is completely unique in scent and formulation. And their ingredients! Incredible handblended combinations of wildcrafted, local, desert and botanical elements that combine to create a most incredible skincare experience when you use them.

Not only were the effective as skin care, but each has a beautiful and unusual scent which surprised me—I thought I had smelled all there was to smell when it came to natural products.

My favorite product was the Ashes Reincarnation Cleansing Grains, which you can use as-is (they crackle and foam up in a most delightful way when you add water!) or mix with Good Medicine’s Clarity Awakening Face Cream to make a tingly, antioxidant-rich, moisturizing mask.

As a longtime fan of oil cleansing, I was excited to try the Rain Replenishing Oil Wash, which is an incredible cleanser (even better than my beloved coconut oil) and the scent is fresh, and woodsy, rosey—a treat in an of itself. (I have been sneaking dollops onto my neck just for scent!)

The last product I tried was the Sand Red Mineral Polish, which smells like a beach in the sunshine, and is a rich combo of wild-harvested yucca, raw honey, and vetiver. The scrubby bits are desert minerals and sands, so all-natural (like everything else in Good Medicine Beauty Labs’ products).

Check out the ingredients list for that last product to get an idea of the incredible, powerful plant medicine that goes into each of these skin-loving, beautifully scented lovelies:

Aqueous tincture of wildcrafted desert sage, wildcrafted juniper berry, wildcrafted larrea, organic dandelion, organic alfalfa and wildcrafted yucca root.  Desert mineral sand, organic aloe vera, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, sodium stearoyl lactylate, xanthan gum, rice powder, glycerin, raw honey, wasabi extract, vitamin E T-50 lactobacillus ferment, ascorbic acid, rosemary extract, organic CO2 calendula extract.

Essential oils and attars of juniper berry, pine needle, cedar wood, lime, lily of the valley, vetiver and rose geranium.

There are plenty of other beautiful products from this new company, and I want Eco-Chick readers to have a chance to try them!
