If you use conventional body care products, you could be exposing yourself to hundreds of chemicals a day: Here’s a breakdown of those products and the chemicals they contain which are the most potentially problematic.

Think all these chemicals have been tested for safety? Think again—most are on the GRAS list: That acronym stands for “Generally Recognized As Safe” and means only that they have not yet been proven to cause harm in humans, though in many cases they will in the future. I like to practice the precautionary principle, and use natural products (or as close to natural as I can).
